A very busy day for two little girls...
First, Laura came. If that wasn't exciting enough, we all went to the ZOO! Carrie was obnoxious- typical, since she's teething, has a little cold, and is TWO. (It's to be expected.) She kept everyone hopping, trying to keep her from climbing in with the tigers or leave with another family. Kelly was very interested in everything. It's too bad that a lot of the displays weren't openm since it's late in the season and they did whatever it is they do with many of the more "tropical" animals.
After dinner, we went to the PLAYGROUND! Yay! Carrie was in a foul mood, but perked up immediately upon arrival. Both kids raced past each other repeatedly, in a hasty quest to do everything possible at least 100 times before the world ended.

They climbed, they slid, they swang, they ran. And then some. Kelly asked me to get on the seesaw with her, then promptly made me leave as soon as I got on. She figured it would be more fun ALONE. (Go figure.)

Carrie went down all the slides about 50 times, each time she climbed the huge apparatus calling, "Mommy! Daddy! Lookit ME! I'm way up here! Here I come!"

As expected, no problems falling asleep tonight!
