Go to Sleeeeep..... Oh, Carrie, please!

She has a bit of a runny nose, has jad it a few days, but no fever & no BAD cold. Yet, this child will not SLEEP. 18 months old is WAY too young to have no nap all day, but she's insisting. Falling over herself she's so tired. Crying it out has never thrilled me, and my kids BARF too easily, but if she doesn't give it a rest soon we're gonna try it! It's midnight now & she JUT went to bed. We've been trying since 7:30! You name it, we tried it. ACK! And she'll be up with the sun tomorrow.

(Nope, no new teeth coming in either!) I remember Kelly doing this around her age. It didn't end until after she was TWO!

AT 11pm I finally took her for a nice long ride in the van. Soft music, boring scenery. It took 45 minutes, then I took her in to bed. She's been up there 15 minutes & I just heard a "Wahhh!" The angry kind. Like, "HEY! I wasn't in here when I fell asleep! What kind of cheap trick is this?" She's quiet NOW, hopefully for the night.

I could SHOOT people who have "those kids" who start sleeping through the night at 2 months, for like 12 hour stretches, and still take a 2 hour nap every day!

Anyways, she's really starting to enjoy brushing her teeth! :)

Ornery little critter! Notice the splop on the wall behind her- that's where her sister "toothbrushed" the new paint. She's also sporting an attractive little flower tatoo on her hand. Kelly had one & baby sister HAD to have one too! Carrie didn't care, but Kelly did!

Speaking of ornery, Kelly has decided she wants to be a BABY again. Oh, we've been through that phase before and it's back with a vengeance. Here she is, in the JUMPER!!! (Sheesh!)
